Today I did another task o had to write and haiku poem and add a image to describe my story. I did it on a google side show. It was really fun and it was hard to think about what I was going to write about. Here is my work.
I am a Year 6 student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. My teacher is Miss McClelland. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - Begin with a greeting. Talk about something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A comment that will mean something to me to let me know you read/watched or listened to what I had to say. - use any language.
3. Something helpful - Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
Encourage me to make another post

Thanks for all of these haiku! They are very poetic and paint strong images of some of your experiences. Especially the last one, alongside that emotive emoji that you chose. I think we can all relate to feeling nervous like that…
If you are interested, you could revisit your haiku and check that they fit the 5-7-5 haiku structure. Then again, poetry is deeply personal and if you are happy with the way they are then kei te pai.
Keep up the great work Akeilah
